f-functional branch point
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004401
A monomer unit within a polymer network that has 'f' reactive sites, allowing it to connect to 'f' other polymer chains or segments. This point acts as a junction where multiple polymer chains converge. The functionality 'f' determines the degree of branching and crosslinking in a polymer network.
