Fetal anatomic position

The orientation of the developing organism within the uterus, typically described relative to the mother's body. This position is assessed during prenatal examinations to monitor growth and development, and to anticipate potential complications during delivery. Common presentations include cephalic (head-down), breech (feet or buttocks-down), and transverse (sideways).
