Glycan microarray
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004930
A high-throughput analytical platform consisting of a solid surface onto which a collection of different glycans (carbohydrate chains) are immobilized in a spatially defined array. This tool is used to study interactions between glycans and glycan-binding proteins, antibodies, or cells. The binding events are detected by fluorescence or other optical methods.
