Gridless reflectron
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005030
A type of ion mirror used in time-of-flight mass spectrometers that employs an electric field without physical grids to reflect ions. This design minimizes ion losses and scattering that can occur with traditional gridded reflectrons. The absence of grids leads to improved ion transmission and resolution in mass spectrometry.
