Homopolymerization
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005384
A polymerization process in which a single type of monomer molecule reacts to form a polymer chain. This reaction leads to a homopolymer, where all repeating units along the backbone are derived from the same monomer. Examples include the polymerization of ethylene to polyethylene or styrene to polystyrene.
