Honeycomb polymer film
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005391
A polymer film characterized by a highly ordered, porous structure resembling a honeycomb pattern on its surface. This morphology is typically achieved through breath figure templating, where water droplets condense on a polymer solution surface during solvent evaporation. These films find applications in filtration, sensing, and tissue engineering due to their high surface area and controlled pore size.
