Iminoxyl radicals
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005611
Radical species containing the -C(=N-O•)R' functional group, where the unpaired electron resides primarily on the oxygen atom. These radicals are relatively stable due to resonance stabilization and are often generated by the oxidation of oximes. They are frequently studied using electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy.
