Immunocompromised

A state in which an individual's immune system is weakened or impaired, making them more susceptible to infections and certain diseases. This condition can result from underlying medical conditions, such as HIV/AIDS or cancer, or from medical treatments like chemotherapy or immunosuppressive drugs. Immunocompromised individuals often require special precautions to prevent infections.
