Immunological incompetence

A state where the immune system is unable to mount an effective or appropriate response to antigens, leading to increased susceptibility to infections or certain diseases. This can result from genetic defects, immunosuppressive treatments, or chronic illnesses. It is often characterized by recurrent infections or unusual opportunistic infections.
