Agranulocytosis

A severe and potentially life-threatening reduction in the number of granulocytes, a type of white blood cell, in the blood. This condition primarily affects neutrophils, leading to a compromised immune system and increased susceptibility to infections. It is often an adverse reaction to certain medications, such as some antipsychotics or antithyroid drugs.
