Intersexuality

A condition in which an individual possesses biological characteristics of both sexes, or characteristics that are not exclusively male or female. This can involve variations in chromosomes, gonads, or external genitalia. The term encompasses a spectrum of conditions, sometimes referred to as disorders of sex development (DSD).
