Inverted core-shell particle
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006063
A type of multicomponent particle consisting of a core and a shell, where the material typically found in the shell of a conventional core-shell particle forms the core, and vice versa. For example, a hydrophobic polymer core might be surrounded by a hydrophilic polymer shell. This structure can alter the surface properties and compatibility of the particle with different media.
