Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007743

A polymeric nanostructure characterized by a hollow core surrounded by a shell, typically ranging in size from 10 to 1000 nanometers. These structures are designed to encapsulate and protect active substances within their core. They find applications in controlled release systems for drugs, cosmetics, and other functional materials.
