Isosteric enthalpy of adsorption

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006217

The differential enthalpy of adsorption at a constant amount of adsorbed substance. This thermodynamic quantity represents the energy change associated with the adsorption of an additional infinitesimal amount of adsorbate onto a surface, while maintaining a constant surface coverage. It is typically determined from adsorption isotherms measured at different temperatures.
