Neutral antagonist
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007907
A type of receptor antagonist that binds to a receptor but does not activate it, nor does it affect the basal constitutive activity of the receptor. Instead, it blocks the binding of agonists and inverse agonists, preventing their effects. This contrasts with inverse agonists, which reduce constitutive receptor activity.
