Normit
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008079
A transformed response scale defined by the standard normal deviate z that matches an observed response proportion, so a 50 percent response scores zero. Fitting dose-response data on this scale is called normit analysis, and it gives results essentially the same as probit analysis. The probit is the normit plus 5, which keeps every value positive.
