Probit
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009487
A unit of measurement for the probability of a quantal response, derived from the normal distribution. It transforms a sigmoidal dose-response curve into a linear relationship, making it easier to analyze dose-response data. The probit value is calculated by adding 5 to the normal equivalent deviate (NED) of the probability.
