Partial decay constant
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008482
The probability per unit time that a given radionuclide will undergo a specific mode of radioactive decay, such as alpha emission or beta decay. It is a component of the total decay constant, which represents the overall probability of decay by any mode. The sum of all partial decay constants for a radionuclide equals its total decay constant.
