Planck constant
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013404
A fundamental physical constant that relates the energy of a photon to its frequency. It is a cornerstone of quantum mechanics, describing the quantization of energy and other physical quantities at the atomic and subatomic levels. The constant has a fixed value of 6.626 070 15 × 10^-34 joule-seconds (J⋅s) in the International System of Units.
