Polymer alloy
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009157
A blend of two or more polymers that results in a material with properties superior to those of the individual components. This blend is often achieved through physical mixing, without the formation of new covalent bonds between the different polymer chains. The compatibility of the polymers in the alloy significantly influences the final material's characteristics.
