Polymer crystallite
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009167
A small, ordered region within a semicrystalline polymer where the polymer chains are arranged in a regular, repeating pattern. These crystallites are typically embedded within an amorphous matrix, contributing to the overall mechanical strength and rigidity of the material. Their size and distribution influence the polymer's physical properties.
