Polymer-rich phase
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009199
A phase in a multi-component polymer system that contains a significantly higher concentration of polymer compared to other coexisting phases. This phase often exhibits a higher viscosity or a more structured morphology due to the increased polymer content. It forms during processes like phase separation or gelation.
