Polymer surfactant

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009190

A macromolecule that possesses both hydrophilic and hydrophobic segments, allowing it to reduce the surface tension between two immiscible phases. These polymers can stabilize emulsions and dispersions by forming an interfacial layer around droplets or particles. They are widely used in coatings, personal care products, and drug delivery systems.
