Puffer fish

A type of fish belonging to the family Tetraodontidae, known for its ability to inflate its body rapidly when threatened. Many species of puffer fish contain tetrodotoxin, a potent neurotoxin, in their organs, particularly the liver and ovaries. Consumption of improperly prepared puffer fish can be fatal due to this toxin.
