Radial elution
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009804
A mode of chromatography where the mobile phase flows outwards from the center of a circular chromatographic bed towards the periphery. The sample is applied at the center, and components separate into concentric rings as they migrate. This technique is often used in preparative chromatography for separating larger quantities of material.
