Radiation-generated catalysis

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009834

Catalysis in which high-energy radiation is used only to form substances that are catalytically active, and they keep catalysing the reaction after the irradiation stops. It differs from radiation catalysis, where the reaction rate changes only while the ionizing radiation is acting on the system.
