Reaction step
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009971
An elementary reaction that involves the formation or breaking of chemical bonds, occurring in a single molecular event. It describes the transformation of reactants into products or intermediates through a single transition state. A complex reaction mechanism consists of a sequence of these individual steps.
