Resonance absorption technique
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010243
A spectroscopic method where a sample absorbs radiation at a specific frequency corresponding to an electronic or vibrational transition, typically from a light source emitting at that exact frequency. This technique is employed to detect and quantify specific atomic or molecular species. Atomic absorption spectroscopy is a common application of this principle.
