Saturation transfer
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010530
A nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) technique used to detect chemical exchange processes between different molecular environments. It involves selectively saturating the NMR signal of one species and observing the transfer of this saturation to another species that is in chemical exchange with the first. This method provides information about reaction rates and mechanisms.
