Scaling circuit
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010540
An electronic circuit designed to reduce the number of pulses by a fixed integer factor. It produces one output pulse for every 'n' input pulses, where 'n' is the scaling factor. This is used in nuclear instrumentation to handle high count rates from radiation detectors, making them manageable for subsequent processing.
