Stamp

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011278

A mold or template used in nanoimprint lithography to transfer a pattern onto a polymer resist film. The stamp, bearing nanoscale or microscale topographical features, is pressed into the resist, which is then solidified by cooling or curing. Stamps are fabricated from materials such as silicon, quartz, or elastomeric polymers like polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS).
