Micromolding
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007341
A fabrication technique for creating microscale or nanoscale structures by replicating a master pattern, or mold, into a polymer material. The process involves filling the mold cavities with a liquid polymer or prepolymer, solidifying the material through methods like curing or cooling, and then demolding the finished part. This method is a key component of soft lithography, where elastomeric molds are used.
