Sulfonylamines

Organic compounds containing a sulfonyl group (SO2) directly attached to a nitrogen atom, which is also bonded to at least one hydrogen atom or another organic group. These compounds are also known as sulfonamides. They are often used as intermediates in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals.
