Surface-enhanced, spatially offset Raman spectroscopy
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011680
A variant of Raman spectroscopy that combines the signal enhancement from a nanostructured metallic surface with the ability to probe subsurface layers by spatially offsetting the illumination and collection points. This technique allows for the acquisition of Raman spectra from beneath an opaque or scattering surface. It is particularly effective for analyzing samples with complex layered structures.
