Surface-enhanced resonance Raman spectroscopy

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011679

A spectroscopic technique that combines the signal amplification of surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy with the selectivity of resonance Raman spectroscopy. This occurs when the excitation laser wavelength is in resonance with an electronic transition of the analyte, further enhancing the Raman signal. It is particularly powerful for studying chromophores at surfaces.
