Transmission Raman spectroscopy
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012255
A variant of Raman spectroscopy where the laser excitation light passes through the sample, and the scattered Raman light is collected from the opposite side. This configuration allows for the analysis of bulk properties of opaque or turbid samples, minimizing surface effects. It is particularly effective for quantitative analysis of pharmaceutical tablets or biological tissues.
