Laser Raman microanalysis

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006465

A spectroscopic technique that uses a focused laser beam to excite a microscopic sample and measure the inelastic scattering of light, known as Raman scattering. The scattered light provides information about the vibrational modes of molecules, allowing for chemical identification and structural analysis. This method is often used for non-destructive analysis of small samples or specific regions within a larger sample.
