Surface map
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011653
A two-dimensional representation showing the spatial distribution of a specific chemical element, compound, or property across the surface of a sample. This map is generated by scanning an analytical probe across the surface and recording the signal at each point. It provides insights into surface heterogeneity and localized features.
