Theoretical maximum daily intake
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011923
An estimate of the maximum amount of a pesticide residue that a person could ingest daily over a lifetime without appreciable health risk. This calculation assumes that all food items contain residues at their maximum residue limits and that a person consumes large quantities of these foods. It is a conservative estimate used in risk assessment.
