Theoretical scattered-ion intensity
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011924
The calculated intensity of ions scattered from a surface, based on a theoretical model of the interaction between incident probe ions and the target atoms. This intensity is predicted using parameters such as scattering cross-sections, atomic densities, and instrument geometry. It serves as a reference for interpreting experimental ion scattering spectroscopy data.
