Experimental scattered-ion intensity
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004229
The measured signal strength of ions that have been scattered from a sample surface during an ion scattering spectroscopy experiment. This intensity is directly related to the number of scattered ions detected at a specific energy and angle. It provides information about the elemental composition and atomic arrangement of the surface.
