Thermogravimetry
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011970
A thermal analysis technique that measures the change in mass of a sample as a function of temperature or time, in a controlled atmosphere. This method is used to determine decomposition temperatures, solvent content, and the thermal stability of materials. The results are typically presented as a thermogravimetric curve.
