Thermophotocatalysis
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011982
A catalytic process that combines both thermal energy and light energy to drive a chemical reaction. The synergy between heat and photons can enhance reaction rates or enable reactions that are otherwise difficult to achieve. This approach is often employed in environmental remediation and energy conversion applications.
