Transcriptome
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012201
The complete set of RNA transcripts, including messenger RNA (mRNA), ribosomal RNA (rRNA), transfer RNA (tRNA), and other non-coding RNAs, present in a cell or organism at a specific developmental stage or under particular physiological conditions. This dynamic collection reflects the genes being actively expressed. Its analysis provides insights into cellular function and disease states.
