Troe expression
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012311
A mathematical formula used in chemical kinetics to describe the pressure dependence of unimolecular and recombination reactions, particularly in the fall-off region between low and high-pressure limits. It provides a smooth interpolation between the limiting rate constants at very low and very high pressures. This expression is widely used in atmospheric chemistry modeling.
