Vaccine

A biological preparation containing antigens that stimulate an immune response in an organism, conferring protection against a specific disease. This preparation can consist of inactivated or attenuated microorganisms, their toxins, or surface proteins. The administration of a vaccine aims to induce active immunity without causing the full symptoms of the disease.
