Wrap-around
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012728
An artifact in two-dimensional chromatography where peaks that elute beyond the end of the modulation period appear at the beginning of the subsequent period. This occurs when the modulation period is shorter than the elution time of some components in the second dimension. It can complicate data interpretation and requires careful selection of modulation parameters.
