Bonfiring

A traditional firing method for ceramics where unfired clay pieces are placed directly into a bonfire or open pit. The heat from the burning fuel hardens the clay, creating a porous and relatively low-fired product. This technique achieves temperatures ranging from 600 to 900 degrees Celsius.
