Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-007269
Small-scale integration (SSI) describes integrated circuits that contain a limited number of transistors, typically fewer than 100. These circuits perform basic logic functions such as gates, flip-flops, and buffers. SSI components were prevalent in early digital electronics before the advent of more complex integration levels.
