Reinstatement

The act of restoring a person or entity to a previous position, status, or condition. This can apply to an employee being returned to their job after wrongful termination, a license being reactivated after suspension, or a policy being restored after lapsing. Reinstatement often involves fulfilling certain conditions or correcting the issues that led to the original removal or suspension.
